Terms & Conditions
The rules that apply when you use Padel Loop.
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Padel Loop website, platform, leagues, and related services (the “Services”), provided by Padel Loop Ltd (“Padel Loop”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England & Wales.
By signing up to our waitlist, registering an account, joining a league, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please don't use our Services.
2. Eligibility & accounts
To use our Services you must:
- Be at least 16 years old (and 18 or over to make a paid booking).
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at sign-up and keep it current.
- Comply with these Terms and any applicable laws.
You're responsible for keeping your account details secure and for any activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that harms other players, venues, or us.
3. Waitlist & leagues
Joining our waitlist does notguarantee a place in a league. We use waitlist information (e.g. location, availability, skill, and league preferences) to plan and form leagues where there's sufficient demand and we can secure a venue.
When a league is open in your area, we'll contact you and invite you to confirm a place. Your place is only confirmed once any required fee is paid and we send you confirmation in writing.
Leagues run on a fixed format communicated to you before you confirm. See our League rules for details on format, scoring, and conduct.
4. Fees, payment & refunds
League fees and any add-ons are displayed clearly before you confirm a booking. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
You authorise us (or our payment provider) to charge the fees to your chosen payment method. Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received.
Refunds.Where you're a consumer in the UK and book online, you may have a 14-day right of cancellation under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, except where the league has already started or been substantially performed at your request. In addition:
- If we cancel a league before it starts, you'll receive a full refund.
- If a league is materially disrupted by us and can't reasonably be rescheduled, we'll offer a credit, partial refund, or full refund as appropriate.
- Once a league has started, fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law (e.g. for breach of contract by us).
- We don't refund fees for missed fixtures, no-shows, or removal for breach of these Terms.
5. Cancellations & rescheduling
You can withdraw from a league at any time by contacting us. The refund policy in section 4 applies.
If you can't attend a fixture, please tell your team and contact us as soon as possible. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in removal from a league without refund.
We may reschedule, relocate, or cancel fixtures where reasonably necessary (e.g. venue issues, weather, or other circumstances outside our control). Where reasonably possible, we'll give you advance notice.
6. Code of conduct
To keep leagues fair, friendly, and competitive, you agree to:
- Arrive on time and treat opponents, teammates, venue staff, and Padel Loop with respect.
- Submit honest and timely match results.
- Refrain from abuse, harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour, on or off court.
- Follow all venue rules and any health & safety guidance at the venue.
- Not cheat, manipulate results, or otherwise undermine the fairness of a league.
We may issue warnings, suspensions, or remove you from a league (without refund) for serious or repeated breaches. We reserve the right to ban repeat offenders from future leagues.
7. Venues & matches
Matches are played at independently-operated partner venues. The venue's own rules, opening hours, and access conditions apply alongside these Terms. You may be asked to complete a venue-specific waiver where required.
You're responsible for arriving on time, bringing appropriate equipment (unless otherwise agreed), and your conduct at the venue.
We're not the operator of the venue and aren't responsible for the condition of facilities, services provided directly by the venue, or any matters outside the scope of the booking we make on your behalf.
8. Liability
Padel is a physical activity that carries inherent risks of injury. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We accept no liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage suffered while playing in or attending a fixture, except to the extent caused by our negligence or breach of these Terms.
- We're not liable for the acts or omissions of venues, opponents, or other third parties.
- We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of enjoyment.
- Our total liability to you (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) in connection with the Services is limited to the total fees you've paid us in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law (including your statutory consumer rights).
9. Intellectual property
All content on our website and platform — including logos, branding, text, graphics, photos, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit our content without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of any content you submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose of providing and promoting the Services.
10. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using our Services, you acknowledge that the Privacy Policy applies.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we'll notify you (for example by email or via a notice on our website).
If you don't agree to the updated Terms, please stop using our Services. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law & contact
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you're a consumer resident in another part of the UK you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
We'll always try to resolve any disputes informally first — please get in touch and we'll do our best to put things right.
